MothGirl had a non-specific deus ex machina chest as part of the character design, mounted to Fafnir. I don't think it ever got abused in any of the other rounds, so I thought I'd use it to let Gyrode meet his favourite communist. As everyone knows, while alive Stalin was a massively powerful sorceror so it only makes sense that he'd become an entity of ether (or a genie) in the afterlife.

As for the Glorious Five Year Plan, I studied Russian Propaganda art for my A level art course. A recurring theme in Russian history is that they bloody love their five year plans, despite over half of them failing miserably.

The hot air balloon with the giant arms that catches Fafnir has not been mentioned before. It's piloted by the Stone Twins, who were generic security detail for the IDD.

We won this round by default, as wildragon did not submit a competing entry. Like Sam, I feel they could have easily beaten us, and it's a shame we never got to see them draw the Docs! I bet they would've looked brilliant in that particular style.

We haven't mentioned it yet, but Gyrode's hat this round is a top hat. Because it's a stunt show. And Gyrode's a stunt master.
