Having won the second round (and it was a close thing, I'll tell you), I was rewarded by Jazon19 with this short comic.
Jazon19 is officially Detulux Inc's biggest fan, and a talented artist to boot. He was quite disappointed to have missed out on Steel Nation, but still contributed something anyway - a mech and a pilot, the Ftagn and Dr. Joshua Waite. After some chatting we both decided that the Docs had pinched his Flux Capacitor (great Scott!), and I promised that at some point we'd both have a battle just for kicks with the Docs vs. Joshua Waite (see it later in the story!).
Dr. Waite is designed heavily around H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulu Mythos, and thus has the peculiar title of "occult scientist". I think he's a brilliant character, a really light-hearted representation of Lovecraft's dark world.
This is the comic where we are introduced to Fluxie the Flux Capacitor (the tentacle thing in the kettle). The tentacled abomination was a gift from Jazon to me. Thanks! I think.

P.S. I am quite aware that the Deathbot's head magically respawns after being blown to bits during round 2, but my argument is that it's such a shoddy head that it is really easy to fix (probably with duct tape), and so the Docs probably fixed it moments before this page happened.
