Darke took two sentences in the script and turned them into this utterly fantastic sequence. The original script called for "epic Top Gun-esque fight scene. 1 or 2 pages? ". This just shows how far beyond expectations Darke went, and I can only say that it's been a true privilege to work with the guy.
