Occasionally I write about things that are squatting temporarily in the zeitgeist of society – news stories, memes and other assorted stuff that only really means anything at the time it is happening. Sometimes the things that are happening are happening to me (yes, I sometimes blog about myself on my own blog, shock horror!).
